Human Resources Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in human resources roles.
- Familiar with labour laws, payroll systems, HR best practices, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with employees and stakeholders.
- High attention to details and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation accurately.
- Able to handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity and discretion.
- Able to multitask, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to HR challenges.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, extending job offers, and handling staff grievances;
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless and positive transition for new employees;
- Support payroll processing by accurately tracking attendance, overtime, and leave records;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including leave management and personnel files;
- Handle HR documentation such as onboarding, confirmation, offboarding, and termination materials, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies;
- Update and maintain HR files, databases and personnel records consistently;
- Assist in organizing and supporting HR functions, including meetings, briefings, and training sessions, including documentation and report preparation;
- Organize and maintain correspondence, reports, and documentation in alignment with company policies and standards;
- Assist in ensuring all employee contracts are duly stamped, stamp duties paid, and digital records maintained in accordance with statutory requirements;
- Perform ad-hoc duties and other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
