About the role

MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a skilled Welder to join our Automotive Engineering team in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. As a full-time Welder, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly of our high-quality military and defence vehicles and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to assemble and fabricate metal components and structures
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant welding
  3. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
  4. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve any welding-related issues or challenges
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Welder in the Automotive Engineering industry, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on welding experience
  2. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  6. Good communication and teamwork skills
