We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping / Import-Export Coordinator to support our international trade operations. The ideal candidate will assist in managing documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow in the logistics and supply chain field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bill of lading and shipping instructions.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and update stakeholders on delivery status.
  • Handle import/export processes, including logistics coordination and custom documentations (draft K1, K2, HS code verification).
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and international trade laws, including accurate handling of sales taxes, duties and exemptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory movements.
  • Support procurement and sales teams with logistics-related queries and documentation.
  • Liaise with finance department to reconcile shipping costs and verify payment documentation.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of experience in import/export coordination is a plus.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in using ERP system such as JDE, Oracle is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • The contract is for 6 months and may be subject to renewal.
  • 5 working days (Mondays to Fridays).
