Role Description
To develop and expand the company's client base by promoting energy consultancy services — including energy audits, energy efficiency improvement programs, and compliance solutions — to commercial and industrial sectors. The position plays a key role in the company's revenue growth by engaging clients from the first contact until project award and handover to the Technical Team.
Job Scope:
I. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify potential clients in commercial and industrial sectors that require EECA compliance, energy efficiency or audit services.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities aligned with company services.
- Deliver professional presentations and explain company services, benefits, and technical value propositions.
- Follow up diligently on quotations, tenders, and proposals until project award.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing in coordination with management.
- Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to the technical team for execution.
II. Marketing & Promotion
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to represent the company.
- Support preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, corporate presentations, and client success stories.
- Collaborate with Technical Team to maintain visibility in market and clients
III. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Gather feedback after project completion to identify potential for continuous improvement.
IV. Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Technical Teams to ensure alignment of client requirements and deliverables.
- Attend internal meetings to discuss client status, pipeline, and new opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecasts for management review.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or any related field. - Additional exposure to
energy, sustainability, or facility management sectors
is an advantage but not required. - 3–5 years of experience in
business development, B2B sales, account management, or client servicing
. - Experience in service-based industries such as consulting, professional service, sustainability, or other engineering service is preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in both written and verbal form.
- Confidence in engaging senior decision-makers and corporate clients.
- Good business acumen and understanding of consultative selling approaches.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
