The Mission: Project Sales Engineer

This is a full-time, essential role where you will bridge the gap between complex engineering needs and practical, high-quality solutions for our clients in Johor. You'll be the face of TEKIDEN, ensuring client requirements are not just met, but exceeded.

What You'll Be Doing

• Client Relationship & Solution Discovery: Build and nurture strong partnerships with new and existing clients. Conduct site visits, detailed troubleshooting, and technical analysis to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Technical Proposal & Sales Leadership: Craft detailed and distinctive sales proposals and technical specifications. Confidently conduct presentations to secure new engineering projects.
• Engineering & Cost Management: Prepare preliminary drawings using AutoCAD (a mandatory skill). Develop comprehensive Sales Bill of Quantities (BQ) and gather/compare cost estimates from various vendors/suppliers.
• Project Kick-Off & Monitoring: Prepare crucial project execution documents (e.g., Schedule, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Method Statements (WMS)). Monitor project progress to ensure efficiency and maximum customer satisfaction.
• Market Insight: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

What We're Looking For

We value your drive and technical foundation. If you meet these requirements, you are a great fit:

• Education: A Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field. A solid understanding of basic mechanical and electrical applications is essential.
• Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, project coordination, or a project engineering role, though highly motivated fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Fresh grads are welcome to apply.
• Core Skills: Strong grasp of engineering principles, project management fundamentals, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English to effectively engage with diverse clients.
• Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Commitment: Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Must have your own reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client sites and occasionally work outstation (e.g., Selangor, Ipoh) based on project needs.
