We're looking for a
Senior Specialist, Security Engineer
to drive our endpoint protection, threat hunting, and security operations initiatives — ensuring our technology environment remains secure, resilient, and future-ready.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the
    Security Operations function
    , overseeing a small team and reporting to the
    Head of IT Security
    .
  • Own and enhance the
    endpoint security posture
    across corporate laptops and BYOD devices.
  • Drive secure provisioning and hardening of endpoints (Windows/macOS) to ensure compliance with security baselines.
  • Manage and optimize security platforms including:
  • CrowdStrike Falcon
    – advanced threat protection & response
  • Zscaler ZIA & ZPA
    – web proxy & zero trust access
  • Microsoft Defender & Intune
    – device compliance, policy, and DLP enforcement
  • Administer
    cryptographic key management systems (KMS)
    to ensure secure key lifecycle control.
  • Conduct
    active threat hunting
    and oversee
    network detection & response (NDR)
    across environments.
  • Lead
    incident response
    and root cause analysis, collaborating closely with SOC and IT teams.
  • Continuously improve detection rules, visibility, and response playbooks.
  • Deliver
    security awareness
    and technical upskilling sessions for the team and wider organization.


What We're Looking For

  • Degree in
    Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT
    (specialization in IT Security preferred).
  • 5–7 years
    of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, endpoint protection, and threat detection.
  • Strong technical knowledge in:
  • CrowdStrike Falcon
    ,
    Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
    ,
    Microsoft Defender
    ,
    Intune
  • Endpoint protection, encryption, USB control, and application whitelisting
  • BYOD risk management and on-premise NDR / IDS / IPS tools
  • Familiarity with
    MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO 27001
    frameworks.
  • Proven leadership in managing projects and security teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Certifications

  • CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator
  • Zscaler ZIA/ZPA Specialist
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
  • CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, Alibaba) are a plus
