Work you'll do

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Project Controller to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project financials, ensuring that project budgets are adhered to, and providing insights that drive financial efficiency and project success for the on-going projects. You will work closely with engagement partner/managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure that financial goals are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances, Lock-Up Management (WIP & AR), early detection of Engagement Write Downs, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with engagement managers to develop project cost estimates, financial models, and business cases
• Implement and maintain project control processes and tools to ensure effective monitoring and reporting
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights
• Identify and assess risks associated with project execution, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies

Requirements:

If you are someone with: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project finance, controlling, or a related field, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
• Experience with project management software and financial management tools. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMI) is a plus
• Experience within a specific industry, such as construction, engineering, or IT
• Familiarity with SAP systems and advanced Excel skills
