Technician III

1.0 Job Summary

Maintenance checks, executes all activities of department which go in for making guests stay safe and comfortable in the hotel. These activities will be directed to ensure smooth and constant supply of weather conditioning, water, both potable and bathing, heat, light and power required for generating all relevant activities. Assists the Maintenance Manager in all aspects.

2.0 Duties And Responsibilities

2.1 Prepares and develops methods for more mechanic and economical operation of equipment by ensuring their optimum up keep and maintenance.

2.2 Constantly check and maintains a "Check List" pertaining to all equipment installed in the hotel.

2.3 Liaises effectively at all levels and carries out all duties as required.

2.4 Direct and administers the electrical mechanical departments heat, light and power including ice, refrigeration and ventilating equipment.

2.5 Reports to the Maintenance Manager on all matters affecting the mechanical electrical operations.

2.6 Recommends changes or more efficient use of mechanical equipment test numerous products and equipment.

2.7 Works closely with management, including accountant and Purchasing Manager on consideration of new and replacement equipment

2.8 Establishes and administers proper works performance records and reports, inventory controls, works order procedures

2.9 Attends to other duties as assigned from time to time

3.0 Area of Responsibilities

3.1 To ensure that service standards are in accordance with the Standard Operation Procedures.

3.2 To assist the maintenance department in their daily works.

3.3 To strictly follow the instruction given by your superiors

3.4 Maintain the quality and quantity of your works at all time.

3.5 To control closely the consumption of material by technician of his section.

3.6 To prepare requisition for material necessary for the job performances of his subordinates and control the issues and consumption of materials,

3.7 Provide electrical, mechanical, air conditioning and other equipment maintenances services.

3.8 Area of responsibility include hotel room, public areas, back of house, production and storage service areas, all outlet and grounds.

3.9 Main sub-station checks incoming supply operation normal all instruments in good condition and operating. Ensure entire areas are clean an dust free.

3.10 To perform other duties outside the normal routine if so required within the scope of the department.

3.11 Carries out constant check on fire system equipment.

4.0 Preferred Knowledge/Qualification/ Experience

4.1 Technical certificate.

5.0 Financial Responsibility

5.1 Initiate requisition to maintain adequate stock of stationary and engineering supplies for the departments.

5.2 Maintain and upkeep the maintenance office and store; regularly straighten shelves and spot check parts to ensure proper location.

6.0 Training and Development

6.1 To attend all technical skill trainings

7.0 Other Assignments

7.1 To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM1,800.00 per month
