Associate Technical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Incident Management and Support:

  • Provide both onsite and offsite cloud support to customers, resolving issues related to Public Cloud.
  • Act as Level 1 cloud engineer in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Assist in preparing incident reports and, where necessary, problem management reports.
  • Ensure all incident tickets are updated and resolved promptly within the required timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Cloud Solution Providers to drive incidents to full resolution and ensure end-to-end closure of support tickets.

Project Implementation:

  • Assist with basic support and deployment of Public Cloud and related technologies.
  • Participate in complex installations involving multiple products, ensuring the project deployment is completed within the designated timeline.
  • Assist senior engineers during project deployments, ensuring smooth implementation and documentation.
  • Update installation tickets and provide progress reports to the manager.

Administrative and Team Coordination:

  • Update timesheets regularly and submit them to the manager.
  • Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner and aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuous improvement and effective knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: No previous experience is required; however, a strong desire to develop skills in Public Cloud and service delivery is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Basic knowledge of Public Cloud and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and developing technical skills.
