Baker – Japanese Dessert Shop

Job Description:

We're looking for a passionate and skilled baker to join our Japanese dessert team If you love crafting delicate sweets and have a strong eye for detail, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:


•⁠ ⁠Prepare and bake a variety of Japanese desserts (e.g. castella, dorayaki, mochi, chiffon cake, cheesecakes)


•⁠ ⁠Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal creations


•⁠ ⁠Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation


•⁠ ⁠Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen


•⁠ ⁠Manage baking schedules and inventory of ingredients


•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with the team to meet daily production needs

Requirements:


•⁠ ⁠Previous experience in baking or pastry preferred


•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Japanese desserts is a plus


•⁠ ⁠Ability to follow recipes with precision


•⁠ ⁠Attention to detail and quality


•⁠ ⁠Strong work ethic and team player
