As the sole in-house developer for ASEC's internal and customer-facing systems, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data-driven web applications using no-code / low-code technologies.

You don't need prior experience with WeWeb or Xano — but you must have a strong foundation in system design, backend logic, and database management.

You will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer to turn business workflows into fully functional digital systems that improve automation, visibility, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1.System Design & Development

  • Build, integrate, and optimise systems using WeWeb (frontend) and Xano (backend).
  • Design relational databases, user flows, and business logic that reflect real-world operations (sales, training, admin, HR).

2.Backend Logic & Data Management

  • Develop Xano endpoints, APIs, and complex filters for data queries.
  • Ensure smooth data structure between objects such as Leads, Accounts, Trainers, Classes, and Invoices.
  • Implement authentication, permission control, and workflow automation.

3.Integration & Automation

  • Connect WeWeb/Xano with third-party tools such as Zapier, DocsAutomator, Google Workspace, Brevo (email), and Looker Studio.
  • Build secure API connections and webhooks to streamline data flow.

4.System Maintenance & Optimisation

  • Monitor app performance, resolve bugs, and continuously enhance user experience.
  • Manage staging and production environments to ensure smooth deployments.

5.Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, data schema, and workflows.
  • Create internal guides and training materials for non-technical users.
  • Ensure long-term maintainability of the system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 4–5 years of experience in system development, web application design, or business process automation.
  • Strong portfolio of projects involving database-driven applications or internal systems.
  • No prior experience in WeWeb/Xano required — but proven ability to learn new tools fast is essential.
