This position ensures the smooth functioning of daily office activities while managing the purchasing process to maintain an efficient supply chain. The individual acts as a bridge between departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Oversee office management tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and maintaining organized records.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication to ensure clarity and efficiency.
  • Organize and coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments.

Purchasing Duties

  • Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders (PO) based on requirements.
  • Source suppliers, compare quotations, and negotiate to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, invoices, and supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure on-time and quality deliveries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to meet operational and procurement needs.
  • Provide timely updates to management on procurement status and administrative matters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification with distinction in Mathematics
  • Proficiency in Malay and English (Chinese language skills are an added advantage).
  • Previous experience in administrative or purchasing roles is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications to make accurate purchasing decisions
