Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Construction-related studies.
  • Minimum 8 years of managerial experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to communicate effectively with a diverse client base and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and skills in: Project Management, Critical Thinking, Coordination, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Construction Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project performance and project budget.
  • Plan and implement projects, setting objectives and sharing project performance.
  • Schedule projects in logical stages and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Manage inspections and ensure authority approvals are in place.
  • Support efforts in obtaining approvals and achieving construction completion of projects.
  • Prepare and implement the Project Construction Program (PCP) to ensure all resources are planned for site activities.
  • Ensure cost efficiency during project implementation.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare Project Progress Reports for clients.
  • Verify and submit claims in a timely manner and coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) on claim submission.
  • Manage and verify material invoices from suppliers.
  • Ensure project personnel adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Provide necessary guidance and coaching to subordinates and site personnel.
