Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Executive specializing in construction, located in Perai. The Procurement Executive will manage purchasing processes and purchase orders, oversee procurement operations, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. The role includes maintaining vendor relationships, analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and working closely with internal teams to meet project requirements while adhering to budgetary and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Business or related fields
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin as you'll be liaising with suppliers from China
  • 0-2 years experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills demonstrated through previous roles or university responsibilities
  • Willing to learn, adapt, and take initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Autocount Accounting is an added advantage)

What you will be doing

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials and equipment
  • Assist the project teams in budget control and cost analysis
  • Assist in preparing tender documentation, collecting and organize bids, and maintaining accurate purchase order records
  • Support progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
  • Coordinate with site and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and cost efficiency
