The duties include, but are not restricted to, assisting the leadership team within the following areas of school development:
Responsibilities
Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans for secondary/high school students. Deliver engaging and effective instruction. Assess and monitor student learning and progress. Prepare students for exams and post-secondary education.
Skills: Strong subject matter expertise and instructional skills. Excellent classroom management and communication abilities. Ability to engage and motivate secondary/high school students.
Requirements
- Possess a relevant bachelor's degree in education or a bachelor's degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or its equivalent.
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Successful teaching experience as indicated in relevant references
- Understanding of high-quality teaching based on evidence, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
