Assistant Manager, Corporate Secretarial

Responsibilities
- To assist the Head of Department (HOD) on all company secretarial matters including liaison with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa"), Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) and other authorities.
- To draft Board resolutions, Bursa announcements, minutes of Board/shareholders meetings as well as organize Board papers and attend all Board/shareholders meetings.
- To handle all aspects of corporate secretarial work which includes timely submission of statutory returns to SSM, Bursa and other authorities in compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Listing Requirements.
- To assist on documentation required for the Company's Corporate Exercises from time to time.
- To assist in any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.
Requirements
- ICSA / MAICSA Associate /LLB graduate
- Minimum 6 years' working experience in company secretarial practice in a company secretarial/ legal firm or public listed company environment.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Companies Act 2016 and Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad
- Well versed with MBRS and MyCoID (CCM online platforms)
- Proficient in written English, good interpersonal, organisational, communication and time management skills
- Proactive, team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Self motivated and able to meet datelines
