What You'll Do

• Mentor & Guide Designers: Coach and develop Product Designers, raising the overall bar of design craft and problem-solving across the team.

• Champion User-Centric Design: Embed research, usability testing, and user insights into the product development process.

• Set High Standards: Define and uphold best practices for design quality, accessibility, and consistency across all platforms.

• Lead Critical Initiatives: Take ownership of key design projects that shape user experience at scale, while enabling the team to deliver across other areas.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Category Leads to ensure design execution aligns with strategic goals.

• Shape the Design Direction: Partner with the Product Director to evolve Mudah's design vision, ensuring it scales with product growth and marketplace complexity.

• Experience: 8+ years in product/UX/UI design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful experiences; prior mentorship or leadership experience preferred.

• Portfolio of Impact: Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work, design systems, and evidence of measurable business or user outcomes.

• Research & Insights: Ability to translate user research and analytics into actionable design improvements.

• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communicator who can influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Figma or equivalent tools, with experience scaling or managing design systems.

As Lead Product Designer at Mudah, you will be the most senior design practitioner on the team, responsible for elevating design quality and ensuring the user's voice is embedded in product decisions. You will mentor Product Designers, provide direction on high-impact projects, and partner with the Product Director to shape Mudah's design vision as the marketplace scales. This role requires a blend of hands-on design work, mentorship, and strategic influence, ensuring Mudah consistently delivers experiences that build trust, drive engagement, and create measurable business outcomes.
