Ansell is looking for an Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Malacca

What your role will be?

  • Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instructions to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
  • Implement and established maintenance program and maintain detailed maintenance records so that recurring problems with machinery, equipment, or parts can be identified and addressed.
  • Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instructions so that it complies with production specifications or instructions.
  • Maintain tools and repair equipment in good working order.
  • Piping and fitting works for carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC's is a must.
  • Supervising maintenance crew and developed the team in RCA and TPM skills.
  • Managing stocks of spares.
  • Creating maintenance procedures.
  • Shift and "on-call" work during major breakdown.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronic or equivalent
  • Working experience in manufacturing is required for this position.
  • Basic Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic is an advantage.
  • Well verse in welding tungsten, arc and MIG.
  • Well verse in Microsoft office – Excel/ Word /Power Point
