About the Role

At
SmartPeep
, we're transforming hospital and aged-care monitoring with AI-powered solutions that prevent falls and enhance patient safety.

We're looking for a
UX/UI Designer
who combines empathy, logic, and curiosity — someone who goes beyond making things "look good" to truly
understand user needs
and design solutions that work in real-world care environments.

You'll work with product managers, engineers, and client success teams to research, ideate, and bring thoughtful designs to life — from insight to implementation.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Client Success to
  discover and validate user needs
  .
• Participate in
  user research and feedback sessions
• Generate
  insights from research
  and translate them into usable, actionable design solutions.
• Design
  user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces
  for both B2B and B2C products.
• Ensure each module aligns with
  overall product usability and UX consistency
  .
• Follow the
  end-to-end UX design process
  — from problem discovery to delivery.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure
  design feasibility and quality implementation
  .
• Develop and maintain
  design systems and component libraries
  for consistency and scalability.
• Create
  responsive and adaptive designs
  across web, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Use
  data, analytics, and testing
  to measure design performance and iterate improvements.
• Take
  ownership
  of your modules — follow through from concept to deployment.
• Stay adaptable — join user trainings, support sessions, or site visits to understand real-world use.

What We're Looking For

• 3–7 years of experience in UX/UI or product design (health-tech or SaaS is a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing
  end-to-end design thinking
  and implementation.
• Proficiency in
  design & prototyping tools
  : Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, Principle, or similar.
• Familiar with
  user research methods and feedback tools
  , and experienced in turning insights into designs.
• Solid understanding of
  responsive / multi-device design
  and usability principles.
• Experience with
  design systems
  ,
  component libraries
  , and
  pattern consistency
  .
• Awareness of
  data-driven UX
  , A/B testing, and analytics-driven decision making.
• Basic understanding of
  front-end development
  (HTML, CSS, JS) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Excellent
  presentation and communication skills
  — able to explain design rationale and influence decisions.
• Empathetic, detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about improving healthcare experiences.
