Purpose Statement:
Responsible for providing overall leadership and technical direction on test and inspection equipment and supporting test processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall functions of test engineering section in determining the test process for products and for developing the production test programs and fixtures..
  • Coordinate with Corporate Engineering to determine Site Company tests strategy and work with customer to determine test strategy
  • Manage a team of test engineering staff in carrying out the test engineering functions
  • Participates on new product development teams to make sure testability is designed into new products.
  • Determines the test process and develops test specs based on that process.
  • Generates test programs and fixtures for production testing
  • Supports production by providing on-going technical support.
  • Supervises Test Technicians / Engineers Support test acceptance and yield improvement processes
  • Operate test equipment support the development of documentation for operational or technical training

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 year of relevance working experience.
  • Multi-site or multi-customer experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, a plus Experience in PCBA, HLA, SMT and system assembly processes.
  • Good knowledge in PCBA test software and hardware of common test platform (HP, Teradyne, Genrad, Etc.)
  • Extensive understanding of analog and digital circuits
  • Skilled at defining and writing test specifications and procedures.
  • A team player who are able to deal with all level of people.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
