Data Center Operations Engineer – Johor (3200 MYR- 4500 MYR)

We are hiring a Data Center Operations Engineer to support Supermicro and Wintel/GPU server environments in our Johor data center. The role covers hardware break-fix, racking/cabling, monitoring, and 24×7 shift-based operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform break-fix on Wintel and GPU servers (RAM, SSD/HDD, NIC, PSU, motherboard, fans, GPU cards, etc.)
  • Install, rack, cable, and provision Supermicro servers
  • Conduct IPMI/BMC diagnostics, firmware/BIOS updates
  • Support OS installation and remote console access (Windows/Linux)
  • Monitor DC health (power, cooling, UPS, PDU, alarms) and escalate when needed
  • Maintain inventory, RMA parts, and service records through ticketing system

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware and break-fix tasks
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux
  • Physically fit to handle racking and lifting servers
  • Willing to work rotating shifts (including nights/weekends)
  • Advantage: Supermicro experience, GPU server exposure, CDCP/CDCS/CCNA/Linux+, or data center background.
