ACE Education is seeking passionate and experienced Part-Time English Tutors to join our dynamic team. We are looking for individuals who can teach English Language and/or English Literature to students from various academic backgrounds, including IGCSE, A-Level, and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, effective teaching techniques, and the ability to inspire students to achieve academic excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons (Language and/or Literature) aligned with IGCSE, A-Level, or IBDP syllabus.

  • Tailor teaching methods according to students' learning needs and academic goals.

  • Provide academic support for assignments, exam preparation, and essay writing.

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain communication with students and/or parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.

  • Conduct either physical classes, online sessions, or home tuition based on student preference and your availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Literature, or a related field (Master's or PGCE/TEFL/CELTA certification is a plus).

  • Prior experience teaching IGCSE / A-Level / IB English is required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reliable internet connection and suitable teaching setup (for online classes).

  • Flexible, punctual, and committed to helping students succeed.

  • Able to work weekday evenings or weekends based on student schedule.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with exam boards such as Cambridge (CAIE), Edexcel, and IB.

  • Experience in one-on-one tutoring or small group sessions.

  • Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach.
