Application Support Engineer
to drive automation and optimization within our IT service management and monitoring systems — specifically
GLPI
and the
ELK Stack
.

What You'll Do

  • Automate Workflows:
    Build and maintain scripts, playbooks, and integrations to streamline GLPI and ELK Stack processes.
  • Administer Systems:
    Design, implement, and maintain robust GLPI and ELK environments to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
    Work with IT and business teams to deliver effective automation and monitoring solutions.
  • Troubleshoot & Support:
    Serve as a key escalation point for resolving complex system or automation issues.
  • Document & Improve:
    Maintain clear documentation of automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Stay Ahead:
    Keep up with the latest GLPI, ELK, and automation advancements to continuously improve operations.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in
    application support, systems administration, or IT automation
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    GLPI
    for asset management and ticketing.
  • Strong experience with the
    ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
    for log analysis and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as
    Python
    or
    Bash
    , and familiarity with
    automation tools
    like
    Ansible
    .
  • Good understanding of
    Linux (RHEL)
    and
    Windows Server
    troubleshooting.
  • Solid grasp of
    networking
    and
    security fundamentals
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Technology
    , or related field.
  • Experience managing and automating Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management practices.
