REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Degree in a related field is an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge of calibration processes and equipment
  • Familiar with reliability testing (temperature/humidity, vibration, thermal cycling)
  • Ability to use calibration-related systems or software (e.g., SMART 4.0)
  • Good coordination skills when dealing with vendors and internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail and good documentation/report-writing skills
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of related experience is an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Register and maintain equipment calibration records in the SMART 4.0 system, including equipment details, calibration certificates, and due dates. Monitor and ensure timely calibration reminders and follow-up actions.

2.2 Request quotations from calibration vendors, raise eSOs, and coordinate with equipment owners and calibration service providers to arrange calibration—either onsite or by sending the equipment to the laboratory.

2.3 Verify calibration certificates to ensure equipment is within the acceptable usage range, endorse approved certificates, and work with the calibration PIC to determine necessary actions for any out-of-tolerance findings.

2.4 Perform reliability tests such as temperature/humidity, thermal cycling, and vibration testing according to customer requirements or internal standards.

2.5 Ensure all reliability test chambers and instruments are properly calibrated, well-maintained, and functioning within specifications before use.

2.6 Record test data accurately, prepare reliability test reports, and highlight any product failures or abnormal test results to the reliability engineer or PIC for further action.
