Financial Operations & Reporting:

Job Summary

The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with financial analysis and fund planning, budgeting to drive effective decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial & accounting principles, attention to detail, and proficiency with financial & accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) and full set Account.
  • Assist in fund planning and financial reporting to management
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register, if applicable.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Perform analysis on financials and provide key insight and explanation for the observation and analysis
  • Assist in business performance evaluation, new initiatives, and capital expenditure.
  • Assist in the budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and external regulatory requirements (e.g., tax, audit).
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial documentation.

Other Duties:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries and provide financial support for cross-functional projects.
  • Liaise with IT department to resolve the business/operation matters.
  • Support the ad-hoc corporate exercise and reporting matters

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Progress towards professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, equivalent) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a finance or accounting role (experience level may be adjusted for Junior/Senior roles).
  • Experience in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., MPERS/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial management software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
