Debug Associate Engineer Based in Ipoh

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead shift activities and manage evaluations, spec file qualifications, debug findings, and SBR builds when shift leads are unavailable.
  • Perform 2nd-level debugging (e.g., minor rework such as OSA swapping, PCBA probing, etc.).
  • Prepare finding reports or data and communicate with PE to improve yield and reduce scrap cost.
  • Communicate with the shift supervisor or line leader.

  • Maintain overall shift performance.

  • Monitor shift debug WIP.

  • Assist PE with evaluations, spec file qualifications, debug findings, and SBR builds.
  • Support production to meet shipment requirements.
  • Support online debugging and clear debug WIP.
  • Train new technicians and debug operators.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min Diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics.
  • Requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, however fresh graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply.
  • A fast learner, independent and able to solve basic technical issues.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
  • Must have strong basic technical skills, effective supervisory abilities, and excellent communication skills to manage tasks and coordinate with teams.
