About the Role

As Senior Associate, Social Media, you won't just "post on social media", you'll be the creative brain, the face and the voice of our brand across platforms. You'll plan and execute high-impact campaigns, create content that gets people talking and represent CapBay with confidence, both in front of the camera and at events.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people, and can turn business objectives into content that resonates with real humans.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Develop monthly and quarterly social media calendars aligned with brand goals and campaigns.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into platform-specific content strategies.
  • Research and identify opportunities for trend jacking, collaborations and viral moments.
  • Be the on-camera talent for social videos, interviews, and live streams.
  • Script, storyboard and coordinate video shoots for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Create social media visuals and short videos using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut and Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Work closely with design and video teams for higher-production projects when needed.
  • Build and authentic voice and presence for CapBay online.
  • Engage directly with our audience through comments, DMs and interactive features.
  • Represent CapBay at events, workshops and media opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs: engagement rates, reach, follower growth and conversions.
  • Use data to refine content strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Coordinate with PR, Events and Partnerships teams to amplify campaigns.
  • Work with product and sales teams to translate technical features into engaging social narratives.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content marketing or a related role.
  • Experience appearing on camera and speaking to an audience is required.
  • Confident, charismatic and comfortable interacting with people both online and in-person.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms and analytics.
  • Proven ability to plan, produce and execute campaigns from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solver who can transform abstract ideas into concrete campaigns.
  • Proficiency in video editing and graphic design is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising is a plus.
