Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and verify payment vouchers before submission for approval.
  • Handle month-end closing and reporting for Accounts Payable (AP), Intercompany (Interco), Stock, and DSHCO.
  • Prepare monthly Intercompany (Interco) statements, debit/credit notes, and invoices.
  • Monitor and analyse creditors and Intercompany ageing, reconciliations, and reports (trade and non-trade).
  • Prepare debit and credit notes for related companies (e.g. KPJHB & KPJSB) for telephone, rental, and medical expenses.
  • Perform stock reconciliation and ensure timely adjustment of negative balances.
  • Conduct stock count exercises when required.
  • Prepare audit schedules and IT checklists, and assist in interim and year-end audits.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
  • Prepare documents and letters required by Legal, Bank, and HQ (including confirmations).
  • Handle DSHCO-related accounting matters.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Accountant or Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting or finance functions, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
