tooling technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, setup and issue tooling required for machining operations (CNC Milling and CNC Turning)
- Maintain and monitor tooling inventory, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Inspect, sharpen, repair, and replace worn or damaged tooling to sustain machining accuracy.
- Collaborate with CNC programmer, engineers, and machinist to determine tooling requirements for new jobs.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on tooling and fixtures.
- Maintain documentation of tooling usage, history, and maintenance records.
Competency Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fixture or tooling maintenance (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Hands-on skills in machining
- Able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
