JOBS DESCRIPTIONS:Process purchase request form from warehouse, yard & facilities, or project team.Sourcing base on require specification and requirement.Carry out cost and delivery lead time comparison / summary for review and approval.Liaise with related department for technical query and review.Negotiate with vendors on pricing in order to control the project's budget.Submit summary for supervisor & review.Generate PO upon approval granted.Liaise with logistic/warehouse and vendor to ensure all purchase item complete deliver.Work with related stakeholder to ensure purchase item deliver as per require time line.Update & keep track purchase status and procurement list.Assist Logistics Section in gathering shipping documents such as bill of lading/airway bill in order to scrutinize material delivery.Generate memo/gate pass for item to be release out from yard & update record in weekly basis.Issue work/service order for service task.Keep track of work/service order till status close & update record in weekly basis.Expedite and ensure that all technical documents such as mill certificates, FAT reports, calibration test reports are in place in order to fulfill project specificationPrepare Procurement Status and Expediting Report in order to keep track and raise any areas of concern when running the projects.Liaise with internal / external customer for sales/service job order and billing.Comply to company ISO standard such as ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 etc.Undertake any other related task by superior from time to timeJob Requirement:Diploma / Degree in Engineering in materials / mechanical / marine preferred3 years experience in Ship Building / Ship Repairing Industry / > 4 years experience in same capacity – Procurement Senior ExecutiveMS Excel, MS WordProficient in English language, Malay language, both spoken and written. Mandarin will be advantageExperienced in project procurement in the ship building / ship repairing sector and able to control suppliers and contractors effectively.
