Responsibilities

  • Manage nonconformance and MRB control during product transfer processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the FAI (First Article Inspection) Report qualification for new suppliers, new parts, tooling changes, or product transfers.
  • Oversee customer quality management and ensure effective containment measures to prevent defective parts from reaching customers during transfer.
  • Manage RMA processes and coordinate sample submissions to customers related to transferred products.
  • Perform in-process quality control and follow-up on nonconformance actions to prevent recurrence during transfer phases.
  • Lead 8D meetings and track corrective action effectiveness related to product transfer issues.
  • Conduct process line audits and collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth product transfer and continuous improvement.
  • Work directly with suppliers on NPI part improvements, drawing changes, and measurement method correlations linked to product transfer.
  • Approve FPIR (First Piece Inspection Report) and Control Plans for transferred products.
  • Exercise authority to stop production lines or hold shipments if critical defects or discrepancies are detected during transfer.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors related to product transfer activities.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in QA or related discipline, preferably involving product transfer or new part introduction.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Familiar with QC tools such as SPC, 8D, FMEA, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
