Job Description:-

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

Job Responsibilities:-

1.1 Oversees and participates in the operation of chemical production equipment and systems used in the processing of chemical substances, adhering to formulation specifications and operational safety standards.

1.2 Leads and participates in shift meetings and safety sessions as required, providing accurate reporting and confirmations for shift changes and completing job safety evaluations as requested.

1.3 Receives and coordinates the completion of daily work assignments, documentation and checklists as required, adhering to process and industrial safety guidelines and requirements.

1.4 Leads the quality review of equipment operation and production outcomes, troubleshooting manufacturing processes and results for potential errors or issues and reporting them as necessary.

1.5 Participates in and completes operations audits and investigations as required.

1.6 Reviews product specifications and formulations for proper safety equipment, tool usage and material specifications, utilizing specified checklists as indicated.

1.7 Leads and coordinates process training, document awareness and peer mentoring of other plant operators.

1.8 Attends and participates in plant productivity, performance and quality meetings and reports as directed.

1.9 Identifies improvement opportunities and leads continuous improvement projects to implement those solutions.

1.10 Obtains and uses the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed, maintaining the condition and storage of such equipment and ensuring personnel adhere to stated guidelines.

1.11 Cleans and maintains plant manufacturing areas and equipment regularly as required, promoting and ensuring environmental cleanliness and efficiency.

1.12 Generate, review and revise existing Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and for new activity when necessary including Standard Inspection Procedure (SIP) and Standard Operating Instruction (SOI).

1.13 Carry out daily checking of raw material consumption and finished products quantity in 1C: ERP, business transaction log system and daily report.

1.14 Daily monitoring of utilities consumption rates and justifies the consumption through daily report.

1.15 Prepare technical investigation report and analyze root cause of any technical issue affecting the process condition and quality.

1.16 Create and review daily and monthly production report & submit for management review.

1.17 In-charge as competent person or assist competent person in performance monitoring of scrubber, waste water treatment system and scheduled waste (SW) management with inline practice of Guided Self-Regulation (GSR).

1.18 Engage and arrange with 3rd party laboratory to carry out required weekly and monthly water analysis.

1.19 Obtain and analyze COA of water analysis and report to DOE through Online Environmental Reporting (OER) every month.

1.20 Daily monitoring of chemical consumption rates and justifies the consumption for WWTP.

1.21 Prepare technical investigation report and analyze root cause of any technical issue affecting the process condition and quality.

1.22 Create and review daily and monthly production report & submit for management review.

1.23 Update and record operation status, maintenance activity and quality in daily WWTP report.

1.24 Ensure stability of production plant and WWTP by doing process analysis, optimization & troubleshoot to achieve the required productivity and quality with efficient raw materials, chemicals and energy consumption.

1.25 Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports of statistical process control (SPC report).

1.26 Development and updating of production management plans (IATF

1.33 To create and to distribute Production Technical reports and Energy report with HQ monthly by first week of each month.

1.34 Daily monitoring of utilities consumption rates and justifies the consumption through daily report.

Education : Degree in Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas, Mechnical Engineering or at least 5 years experience in the same job position in chemical production operations or production environment. (Petrochemical/Oleochemical/Chemical/Refinery)

Requirment:-

  1. Good knowledge on Wastewater Treatment Plant process and Local government regulatory requirement.

  2. Knowledge & experience with 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma concepts.

  3. Understanding, Evaluating and Implementing Effective HIRARC at workplace.

  4. Knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.

  5. DCS knowledge (preferable Yokogawa)
