We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Diesel Hydraulic Mechanic with expert knowledge of specific heavy machinery and vehicles. The candidate must have proven expertise in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Hino and Nissan tipper lorries, Eurostar back pushers, Case backhoes, Dynapac and Sakai roller compactors, and excavators including Hitachi, Sumitomo, and Kobelco brands. This is a senior-level full-time position only — candidates must already possess the required expertise and be able to work independently from day one. Proficiency in vehicle wiring and air conditioning repair is also essential. The candidate must also be able to lead the installation of lorry cabins and overhaul engines with the support of a helper.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and hydraulic systems on:
  • Hino and Nissan tipper lorries
  • Eurostar back pushers
  • Case backhoes
  • Dynapac and Sakai roller compactors
  • Excavators, specifically Hitachi, Sumitomo, and Kobelco brands
  • Lead and supervise the installation of lorry cabins.
  • Overhaul engines independently with assistance from a helper.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vehicle wiring and electrical systems.
  • Service and repair air conditioning systems on all vehicles and machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and service hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
  • Maintain precise service records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Manage parts and tool inventory in collaboration with procurement.

Requirements:

  • Proven expert-level experience (minimum 5 years) with the listed machinery and brands.
  • Strong technical qualifications or certifications in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical wiring, and air conditioning systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to lead cabin installation and perform engine overhauls.
  • High standards for safety, quality, and workmanship.
  • Physical capability to handle manual tasks and heavy lifting.

Preferred:

  • Previous supervisory or mentoring experience.
  • Valid driver's license and familiarity operating heavy machinery is an advantage.

Salary:

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
