Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment records.
  • Prepare and update financial documents such as purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and delivery notes.
  • Assist in account reconciliation – matching supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, and updating ledgers.
  • Support month-end closing activities such as journal entries, petty cash reconciliation, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in preparing reports – cash flow, expense summaries, and sales performance related to logistics operations.
  • Handle filing and documentation of financial records (physical and digital).
  • Coordinate with operations/logistics team for billing, freight charges, and cost verification.
  • Assist in verifying customer and supplier accounts – outstanding payments, credit notes, or debit notes.
  • Support auditors or finance executives in audit preparation and document submission.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance or Accounts Executive/Manager.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Exposure to logistics billing processes, import/export documentation, and cost allocation.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or SAP).
  • Understanding of financial workflows in logistics companies (billing, invoicing, and freight accounting).
