Systems Operator

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Systems Operator to join our dynamic team at STRATEQ GROUP. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a highly secure, mission-critical environment and is ready to grow in the data centre operations field. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor overall data centre health via CCTV, EMS Network, and service event/alert systems.
- Perform customer batch run activities and tape management functions.
- Provide first-level support and escalate issues to internal support teams when required.
- Oversee and track the movement of customers and vendors within the data centre premises.
- Monitor and manage equipment entering and leaving the data centre.
- Ensure strict adherence to all data centre security protocols and operational procedures at all times.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer or Senior Management.
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Computer literate and comfortable working with monitoring systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attributes: assertive, empathetic, active listener, and fast learner.
- Responsible and vigilant, with a strong sense of security awareness.
