We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our client team in Kulim. This role will lead the finance, statutory reporting, audit, and compliance functions for the site, ensuring strong financial governance and alignment with corporate standards. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in driving financial excellence within a multinational manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.
  • Manage audit, tax filing, and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and SOX compliance to safeguard company assets.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide variance analysis, financial insights, and cost control recommendations.
  • Drive CAPEX reviews, ROI analysis, and investment evaluations to support management decisions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulators.
  • Mentor and lead a finance team to deliver accurate reporting and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA) preferred.
  • At least 10 years of finance/accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in MNC manufacturing or EMS environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance, IFRS/US GAAP, and SOX controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/financial modelling.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix MNC environment.
