Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Product Developer

• Coordinate the product development lifecycle for Islamic products which includes Retail Banking Deposits, Corporate Banking Deposits, Retail Investment accounts, Corporate Investment Accounts, Structured Products, Treasury Products, Unit Trust Products and Third Party Products.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects forward and achieve desired outcomes.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and proposals for new products or enhancements, ensuring they meet all regulatory and internal requirements.
• Manage the submission of product initiatives to internal committees and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare training materials and standard operating procedures for new product launches

Reporting & Analytics

• Manage timely and accurate submission of periodic reports to both management and regulatory bodies.
• Perform impact assessments for new reporting requirements and control standards.
• Conduct data analysis to monitor product performance, financial risk, and support marketing analytics for Investment Account products.
• Prepare and publish performance reports for customers and internal teams on a timely basis.
• Provide recommendations to management based on your analysis of product and financial data.

Technology & System Support

• Request and oversee the maintenance of system parameters for new product codes and rates.
• Coordinate with the IT team to execute system updates and product setups.
• Develop user requirements for new system and process enhancement projects.
• Manage and complete user acceptance testing (UAT) initiatives, including designing test cases and resolving defects.
• Participate in system health checks to ensure all updates and enhancements are functioning properly.

Requirement

• Possess a Degree in finance, accounting, banking, business administration or other related specialization.
• Thorough and detail-oriented approach to ensure all work is complete and accurate
• A self-starter, independent, self-organized, meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines. 
• Excellent organizational and co-ordination skills, intellectually curious.
• Possess dynamic and positive working attitude towards multi-tasking and proactively seeks out opportunities to advance and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and product owners in launching / on-boarding sustainable products that will build the revenue and achieve profitability targets.
• Prior exposure in Islamic product development, Islamic wealth management, investment account or equivalent experience is a-plus.
