Fit-out Senior Executive/ Executive

As a Senior Executive/Executive Fit-Out, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the fit-out and construction activities within EkoCheras Mall. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and management, to ensure the timely and successful completion of fit-out projects. Your primary goal is to maintain high-quality standards while ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of fit-out projects to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers and meet the mall's objectives.

Responsibilities

Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Tenant Coordination: Collaborate with tenants to understand their fit-out requirements, negotiate lease terms related to fit-out, and ensure compliance with the mall's design and construction guidelines.

Contract Management: Engage and oversee contractors, vendors, and suppliers involved in fit-out projects, reviewing contracts, and ensuring all parties meet their obligations.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect ongoing fit-out works to guarantee compliance with approved designs, safety regulations, and building codes.

Budget Control: Prepare and manage fit-out project budgets, providing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and finding cost-effective solutions when required.

Reporting: Regularly update management on the progress of fit-out projects, identifying any potential delays or issues, and proposing solutions to address them.

Handover and Documentation: Coordinate the smooth handover of completed fit-out spaces to tenants, ensuring all relevant documentation and certificates are in order.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance fit-out processes, materials, and technologies to optimize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in project management or relevant disciplines are advantageous.

Experience: For the Senior Executive role, at least 5 years of experience in project management, fit-out, or construction within the retail or shopping mall industry. For the Executive role, 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Knowledge: Proficiency in construction project management methodologies, building regulations, and fit-out processes. Familiarity with AutoCAD, project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, and budget management software is advantage.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate project teams and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and make decisions in a dynamic environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in fit-out plans, contracts, and budgeting.

Team Player: Collaborative and cooperative mindset to work effectively with various departments and external parties involved in fit-out projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 24 months
