Job Description

  • Preparation of monthly group consolidation accounts

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly & yearly financial reports

  • To co-ordinate periodic financial performance review of the company & Group

  • Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting standards (MFRS), Bursa, SC and relevant Statutory rules & regulations, tax statutory, SST, legislative requirements and group policies, including liaison with auditors, tax agents and other statutory authorities to ensure all requirements are complied with.

  • To co-ordinate yearly audit with external auditors

  • To co-ordinate the preparation and monitoring of Group annual budgets, including annual budget of operating subsidiaries

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agent and company secretary regarding audit, tax and statutory requirement.

  • To perform any other ad-hoc task that may be assigned from the management and when required.

Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree/Professional qualification in accounting or Professional qualification in MIA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

  • Those with working experience in a relevant position with a public listed company and also audit working experience will be preferred

  • Well versed in MFRS, regulatory and listing requirements.

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Good in MS Office especially in Excel and ability to use Autocount & MYOB Accounting software.

  • Must be able to meet corporate reporting deadlines

  • Independent, resourceful & able to multi-tasking
