Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees engaged in metal stamping and molding operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met with optimal machine utilization and minimal downtime.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects or process issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety updates, and quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality control teams to resolve technical or operational issues.
• Review and update work instructions, production logs, and shift reports.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and optimize cycle times.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, or related engineering field.
• At least 2–3 years of working experience in mold setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (preferably in metal industry).
• Strong technical knowledge of mold fitting, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Familiar with molding machine operation, parameters setting, and process optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tool designs, and machine manuals.
• Good understanding of ISO standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach in resolving production issues.
• Good teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, production reporting systems).
