This is a
12 months contract
role for Infrastructure Support located at Kuala Lumpur. The industry background is Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    L2 infrastructure support
    for production and non-production banking environments.
  • Monitor
    infrastructure health, performance, and capacity
    using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Respond to
    alerts and incidents
    , ensuring timely restoration of services.
  • Perform
    root-cause analysis (RCA)
    for recurring issues and coordinate fixes with L3 teams, engineering, and vendors.
  • Support
    server and infrastructure components
    including Windows/Linux OS, basic networking, middleware, and storage indicators.
  • Assist with
    change management activities
    such as deployments, patching, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Maintain
    infrastructure documentation
    such as SOPs, runbooks, and configuration records.
  • Ensure
    compliance with banking security standards
    and regulatory requirements.
  • Support
    automation initiatives
    to improve monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in L2 Infrastructure Support
    within banking or similar high-availability environments
  • Strong knowledge of
    Windows/Linux server environments
    , basic
    networking
    , middleware components, and storage indicators
  • Experience working with
    enterprise monitoring and performance tools
    (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with
    ITIL processes
    , specifically Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Ability to perform
    root-cause analysis
    , respond to incidents, and support change management activities
  • Strong documentation skills for SOPs, runbooks, and configuration records
  • Understanding of
    banking security standards
    and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to support
    automation initiatives
    for monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency
