About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team at TH Venture Sdn Bhd in our Kepong, Kuala Lumpur office. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in managing the financial records and accounting processes for our diverse client base. What you'll be doing

  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately documented and properly coded

  • Perform daily account operation tasks, including banking and finance.

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledgers to maintain financial accuracy
  • Monitor cash flow, handle inter-company transactions
  • Support the audit process by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries
  • Liaise with company bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, etc on related matters to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least a diploma or Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting (preferably in the construction industry)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality to work well within teams
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word and knowledge of Autocount software will be an added advantage
  • Initiative, independence, and ability to withstand pressure
