Pentas Flora is looking for two (2) enthusiastic candidates to join our Automotive Waste Division. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to enhance their knowledge in waste management and circular economy practices.

Job Description & Requirements (Business Development Executive):

  • Develops and implements strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives and targets for waste products in Automotive Waste segments.
  • To establish a close relationship with both corporate customers and suppliers of waste products in Automotive Waste industries and expand new business opportunities.
  • Identify, source, and conduct marketing research.
  • Monitors competitors' products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • To prepare and present analysis and reporting.
  • To actively promote the company's services.
  • To continuously improve product knowledge and skill.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree.
  • Experienced in the Automotive or Manufacturing Industry will be added advantage.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal. Additional language will be an advantage.
  • Must be self-motivated to find suppliers and establish close relationships with suppliers and potential suppliers to purchase waste products from them.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a good relationship with people at all levels.
  • Must have own transportation and willing to travel a lot for work purposes.

Job Description & Requirements (Business Operations Executive):

  • Review monthly collection trends, conduct forensic checks, and monitor daily prices (fee base, gross profit, and branch performance).
  • Predict monthly collection targets and coordinate with West Malaysia Managers to optimize resource allocation (Business Development Executives, drivers, tankers).
  • Maintain and analyze the customer database by zone, type, and ownership to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare timely performance analyses and forecasts with variance commentary for management review.
  • Collaborate with branches, marketing, and collectors to develop action plans and monitor KPI progress.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, implement improvements, and track outcomes to enhance efficiency.
  • Link costs to revenue, optimize resources, and provide commercial insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage reporting, logistics coordination, customer billing, and general administrative tasks across branches.
  • Minimum Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in sales administration/sales analyst.
  • Having experience with Power BI will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Effective communication skills paramount for collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive in addressing operational inefficiencies and finding opportunities for process optimization.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • High sense of urgency and agility.
