We are looking for a passionate and capable Restaurant Manager to lead the full operations of our vibrant dining outlet. You will take ownership of the guest journey, team performance, and business success—blending daily hands-on leadership with long-term planning. This is a single-restaurant operation where your role makes a significant impact, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Your Role

  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurant and bar operation, from service excellence to operational efficiency.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and consistent service aligned with Hyatt standards and Alila's experience.
  • Monitor and optimize profitability, cost control, and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary team to maintain smooth service and consistent food quality.
  • Execute promotions and collaborate on restaurant marketing strategies.
  • Lead and inspire the service team, handling recruitment, training, and performance development.
  • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in full compliance with local laws and Hyatt policies.
  • Be present and hands-on during key service periods, coaching the team on the floor.
  • Take the lead on guest recovery and feedback resolution.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and maintenance of restaurant equipment.

Qualifications
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong team management and customer service skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in restaurant POS systems, inventory control, and daily operations management.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices as per Malaysian Food Act standards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and resolving operational challenges quickly.
