Job Summary
The Key Account Executive/Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key modern trade customers such as AEON, Lotus's, and Giant across Malaysia. This role involves developing and executing business plans, driving sales growth, improving product distribution, and ensuring strong in-store execution. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver sales targets, optimize trade spend, and strengthen brand visibility in the retail market.
Key Responsibilities:
Account management & business growth: Manage key supermarket accounts such as AEON, Lotus's, Giant and other key modern trade channels
Commercial planning & negotiation: Develop and execute join business plans with internal teams and external buyers, to achieve sales and distribution targets
In-store activations execution: Make regular visits to outlets to execute and monitor planned activities; and supervise field promoters
Reporting & insights: Generate regular business reports and analyse performance, competitors, market trends and opportunities
Other admin work: Support required admin works like form filling, internal approvals, etc.
Expectations & Skills:
Fluent in English (speaking & writing) & Malay (basic communication)
Able to use Excel & PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting and presentation
Self-driven, proactive and think out of the box
Willing to visit supermarket outlets when required
Strong communication skills with data-driven mind
Able to handle urgent issues with practical solutions and adapt quickly to fast-changing situations
KPI:
Sales revenue and growth targets
Distribution & product expansion within Malaysia market
Execution of trade activations & promotions
Analysis of ROI & trade spend efficiency
Customer relationship with supermarket buyers
Working Location : on-site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
