About the role

Tadika Sinar Hidayah Mandarin is seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a full-time Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences to our young students, with a focus on Mandarin language instruction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Malaysian Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) curriculum guidelines
  2. Provide Mandarin language instruction through interactive lessons, activities and games
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, and provide individualised support as needed
  4. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  5. Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
  6. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills

What we're looking for

  1. SPM or DIPLOMA in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  2. Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken
  3. Previous experience (1-2 years) teaching in a preschool or kindergarten setting
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents and colleagues
  5. Creativity and a passion for making learning fun and engaging for young children
  6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
