Job Description
The Protégé – Operations candidate will assist the operations team in ensuring smooth security services at site locations. This role involves coordinating schedules, monitoring guard performance, preparing reports, and assisting in handling operational issues. The program offers real-world exposure within the security industry to develop the candidate's professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
a) Ensure security services comply with contract standards, including:
- Sufficient guards present and reporting for duty.
- Guards remain at their post throughout duty hours and only leave once replaced.
- Guards perform duties according to SOPs, procedures, and work instructions.
- Guards maintain a neat, disciplined, and professional image.
b) Arrange and coordinate guard duty schedules.
c) Provide job briefings, task instructions, and guidance to guards.
d) Supervise and monitor guards through daily inspections and duty audits.
e) Handle and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
f) Maintain the welfare, discipline, and conduct of guards.
g) Communicate and discuss with clients to address issues and maintain good working relationships.
h) Conduct initial investigations for any security incidents or damage to client property to identify elements of negligence. Reports must be submitted to the Branch Manager within 24 hours.
Qualifications
- Malaysian citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field (MUST include transcript).
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work in Batu Caves and Melaka based on operational needs.
- Disciplined, responsible, proactive, and highly motivated.
