Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that ensures the bank's technology ecosystem aligns with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation objectives. This role bridges the gap between business goals and technical solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology across the bank. Working across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains, the Enterprise Architect will support modernization initiatives, cloud adoption, integration strategies, and emerging technology evaluations.

Architecture Design & Strategy*

* Develop and maintain current and target state enterprise architectures.

* Design architecture blueprints that support business goals, innovation, and regulatory compliance.

* Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and modernization of IT systems and platforms.

Technology Alignment*

* Align technology platforms and systems with the bank's operational, security, and compliance requirements.

* Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for core banking systems, digital channels, payment systems, CRM, and data platforms.

* Lead architectural input for projects including cloud migration, data architecture, APIs, and cybersecurity.

Governance & Standards*

* Ensure compliance with architecture governance frameworks, IT policies, and regulatory standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, Basel III).

* Contribute to architecture review boards and participate in solution design governance.

* Establish reusable standards, design patterns, and reference architectures.

Stakeholder Engagement*

* Collaborate with business leaders, solution architects, security, risk, and compliance teams to define enterprise-level technology strategies.

* Act as a trusted advisor to project teams and product owners.

* Present architecture decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, with at least 2+ years in enterprise architecture

* Experience in the *banking or financial services sector* is highly desirable

* Hands-on knowledge of core banking systems, digital platforms, payment systems, and regulatory requirements

* Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API/microservices design

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required)
