About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our growing team at WSG Properties Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the employee experience and supporting the strategic objectives of our organisation. This is a full-time permanent position.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing effective human resources policies, procedures and practices to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
  • Providing guidance and support to managers on all HR-related matters, ensuring fair and consistent people management practices
  • Leading the design and delivery of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives
  • Promoting the company's values, culture and employer brand to attract and retain top talent
  • Handle HR software, prepare payroll, statutory deduction.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the property or real estate industry
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels
  • Proficient in HR information systems, data analysis and reporting
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HR policies and procedures
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
