Sales Manager

Reporting to: Group Managing Director / Group Executive Chairman

Key Responsibilities

 Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to drive market growth, customer

acquisition, and business expansion.

 Identify and pursue new business opportunities, key accounts, and strategic

partnerships.

 Develop and execute sales strategies, product positioning, and go-to-market

plans in alignment with corporate objectives.

 Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with key decisionmakers

to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

 Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide

strategic insights to the management team.

 Oversee the complete sales cycle, including contract negotiation, order

coordination, delivery planning, and timely collection.

 Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of customer records, sales pipeline,

and business performance updates for management review.

 Uphold company policies, compliance standards, and ISO requirements in daily

operations.

Requirements

 Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Chemistry, or a related field.

 Minimum 8 years of relevant sales or business development experience,

preferably in B2B or chemical/industrial supply sector, with at least 3 years in a

leadership role.

 Proven ability to lead a sales team and deliver measurable business results.

 Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is an added advantage.

 Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ambition to grow.

 Independent, resourceful, and willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia (up to

50% travel requirement).

 A collaborative team leader able to drive performance while fostering a positive

team culture
